Since 2010, the company "Ural Engineering Center" has been developing technology for applying hard chrome coating to rods, rollers, and bushings. In 2019, with the participation of South Ural State University (SUSU), an industrial complex was established. The coating has a hardness of 950-1050 HV and a thickness of 20-42 microns, with the capability of increasing the length of chromed parts up to 12,000 mm.
