From November 7th to 10th, the 29th International Industrial Exhibition "Metal-Expo 2023" took place at the "Expocentre." This year's event broke all records: it brought together 815 leading metallurgical companies, the exhibition space nearly doubled, exceeding 40,000 m², and it attracted over 30,000 visitors from various industries including construction, machinery manufacturing, fuel and energy complexes, as well as representatives from transport, logistics, and metal trading companies.
The company LLC "Ural Engineering Center" participated in the exhibition. A new development was presented at the stand - a model of the newly designed Electrohydraulic Power Amplifier "EGUM-10" with an extended frequency range.
The EGUM with an extended frequency range is used in testing stands as well as in various industrial installations, such as oscillation mechanisms of continuous casting machines' molds, scale breaking systems, and rolling mills in metallurgical production. The serial production of such devices will solve the problem of import substitution in these industries.
The stand was visited by specialists from enterprises including: Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Pipe Metallurgical Company, Severstal, Novolipetsk Steel, United Metallurgical Company, Metalloinvest, EVRAZ, Mechel, Novostal-M, Ural Steel, TEMPO, Akron Holding, Uraltube, Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant, Electrostal Metallurgical Plant, Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant, Aluminium Metallurg Rus, Stupino Metallurgical Company, MMK-METIZ, Severstal-Metiz, Electrostal Heavy Engineering Plant, Metallinvest, Belarusian Steel Works, PMX, UMK-Steel, Southern Mining and Metallurgical Complex, Ruspolimet, Tula-Steel, VSMPO-AVISMA, Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant, Kamensk-Uralsky Non-Ferrous Metal Processing Plant, Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant, Metallurgical Division of Rosatom, Krasny Oktyabr Corporation, and many others.
In order to encourage and promote domestic production, scientific-production, and research collectives that have developed and implemented equipment and technologies meeting modern technical standards and have mastered the production of new types of high-quality products, the "Metal-Expo" organizing committee established a competition. This year, LLC "Ural Engineering Center" presented its projects and was recognized with exhibition laureate diplomas.
